This book has its funny and outrageous points and is certainly a light easy read which at points will have you laughing out-loud!
However, so... many... stereotypes! We get it, he is British and she is American! This could have been amazing, if only the author relied less on the stereotypes and more on developing the individual personalities of the characters!

I found this book to be charming, silly and laugh-out-loud funny. The characters are flawed, yet relatable; they are thrown into an absurd situation (chosen by the dating website they're a part of to get married in what amounts to be a huge publicity stunt) and react accordingly.
Is it a life-changing novel? No. That said, it is a fun romp and well worth the weekend read.

Had me laughing all the time and showed me how two people can be in love and not understand it. Overall it's really funny and it's a light reading and I guarantee that the ending it's just amazing!

Omg such a good book! I can’t remember the last time I actually laughed out loud while reading. I love the characters in this story. I also loved that part of the book is set in Carmel by the Sea, and I’ve not long come back from there, so it was so nice to read about a place I fell in love with! I’d definitely recommend this book!

I got this book for free as a giveaway, and I was not impressed. I stopped reading halfway through the second chapter. I don't understand why some authors can't manage to write romantic fiction without some sort of pornography or dropping the f-bomb. Neither one of those set up for great romance, and both were in the first chapter. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

Another Nick Spalding, another mixture of broad humour - some of it scatological, works if you like that kind of thing - and likeable characters. Fine enough, but I feel I've been here many times before. Each chapter sets up a premise, say a tennis match, and begs you, the reader, to work out what calamity is going to befall our heroes before it actually happens, and it does! There's some genuinely funny moments and some less sure-footed pathos, and on the whole it delivers pretty much what you might expect from a Spalding epic. Again.

This book was hilarious and had me rolling around on the floor. Jessica and Adam are all of us at some point. And watching their relationship unfold, was brilliant. I won't spoil it for others but there are twists and turns in this story you don't see coming.
You spend a lot of energy preying for them to find their happiness and be kind to each other and when it looks like they will, they don't.
Second book I've read from this author. I love his writing style, his ability to make us laugh, and really include you in the goings on.
This is a love story unlike any other. That shows love isn't a magical thing that happens, you need to choose it, and put in the effort :)

Didn't really enjoy this (as you can tell by the length of time it took me to read it).
Story of two people who get married after being matched on a dating website as the 'perfect couple'.
Ups and downs and all the usual palaver. Blah blah blah.
