Going into his book blind. Didn't read the synopsis just listened to the sample the narrator was good so I went for it.
I'm a little concerned this is a throuple book. I don't do rhrouoles
Despite not being a fan of throuples the dynamics are just right and I was cheering the 3 of them on. And most importantly hot

I really do love stories where the characters have this part of them that has been torn apart and broken by the world and their person is the one that can help them mend that part of them.
That being said I guess I should amend that it's not that I don't like polyamous relationships in book I dislike the way that they can at times be written. These one though 3 men who are so different and yet have so much that ties them together. They each have their individual things that allow them to be what the other needs. I am a firm believer that one person can't always be the one that meets every need you have.

I didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either. I love the characters. I would have loved it more if there was proper relationship development but considering it’s a novella, that’s done okay then.
I really enjoy m/m/m romance stories when enough time is devoted to each characters' individual lives. I felt Callen, Finn and Rhys' relationship developed way too fast. I enjoyed the book as a whole but it was not believable for two people who pinned over each other for over 6 years somehow fall in love with each other and stranger within a week. That part was not believable. I really enjoyed the supporting characters, especially Dane and Jax.
All three meet in a club and fuck and this fuck means something even though no one wanted it to. Instalove. Probably should have skipped the prologue. A lot of "I've never felt this way/wanted to do this before" which is.. meh for me. At least MC2 is fighting it- mostly because he's battling mental illness, but still, at least it's something. Sort of, he still wants both of them and hates anyone else who they could be romantically interested in. It feels awkward and emotional and not real. So probably a me issue. I do love this author.

Rhys had been convicted for assaulting his partner. Then, although Jaxon's proof of Tom's guilt regarding the CI and companions murder, maybe could mitigate the charges, under no circumstances could eliminate themEven so, putting aside the above comments, I enjoyed the story.
Looking at my review from the first time I read this, I'm surprised I do still remember these characters and their stories. I really enjoyed this as the audiobook and am raising my rating to 4 stars. This was a beautiful and short story!
