After this election, this book helped to calm me and give me some peace. Walking meditation, it works and it's a good thing. He brought me back to mindfulness. Thank you.

This is an excellent book on ethical leadership and balance based on Buddhist philosophy. I think it’s an excellent counterpoint to books like The Art of War that focus on scarcity mentality.

As usual, Thich Nhat Hanh provides calm, approachable wisdom and advice. Worth reading, and re-reading, whenever you need a spiritual pick me up.

The target audience of this book are business owners and other people who might self-describe as powerful (politicians, e.g.). It has examples of bringing mindfulness and then insight into the working world, but the best example is in its appendices when the founder and owner of Patagonia talks about his journey as a reluctant or at least skeptical entrepreneur.

Great book about realizing my power and living a better life at home, at work and as a citizen. A nice pragmatic path with solid analogies that stick with me. I have a lot of anger and frustration that gets the better of me, I can be happy by being mindful with greater effectiveness as a side effect. Sure beats any of the side effects mentioned on the television drug ads.

Thich Nhat Hanh here details how real power is found in loving kindness and not in wealth or fame or political gain. So mostly a reinforcement of moral common sense, to be honest, but it was a nice reminder on trying to walk and breath and pretty much do everything we do mindfully.
