Wowwwwwww. THE DRAMA! THE LOREEEEE this went insane. This was 1000% better than the past two books omg. I love how it’s all been woven together and the past makes sense with the future. Like you know it’s wrong when I started liking baby AVEN come onnn. (I lowkey really liked him and Alex 😔). AND OMG ALEX BEING THE REASON HE GOES BESERK?!? Nahhh it was crazy. It was so good seeing Kyia, Roka, Aven and Nyix’s little friend group with Aeylia 🥹 I just want to stay in that time like why did I enjoy it more than when she’s at Akarnae?!? Idk but it was depressing seeing everything go down at the end (AND NYIX being innocent?? Damn it was crazy). Also Xiraxus the freaking dragon was crazy it reminded me a lot of fourth wing. Loved it I’m depressed he’s gone. It was so weird seeing Alex befriend Aven knowing what she knows and it’s even more twisted knowing that I loved it HAHAH and am lowkey kinda rooting for a redemption arc 🤨

This book was an amazing expansion in the world of this series. I loved the plot as well. It was written SO WELL. I want a Xira of my own.

I hit a point where the character did something that went against their own moral compass. This moment hit me so hard that I had to take a break to process. That break got longer and longer, but each time I thought about diving back in I didn’t feel over the emotions or that they had lessened at all. Now I’m at the point where it’s been so long that I would need to start the series over. So for now, I’m done. I might come back to this series at some point but I’ve got other book I’m more excited about. And this is a fun series! I ate through the first two and the third up until this point.
