why do i want to CRY this book wasn't even SAD

it was so well done though... my gosh this is my first time reading a full-blown villain arc and it is mind-blowing. my toxic trait is that i lowkey ship the villain and the hero more than the hero and her love interest. i'll get over it in the next book though. but gosh was that the emotional rollercoaster

what is that cover though

4.5 stars!

This book was so different from the last two. I have to say I really missed the setting of Akarnae and all the characters that come with it. That being said I surprisingly really enjoyed getting to know the Meyians in the past with Alex. Niyx is now a favourite character and I ended up actually liking Aven for a part of it as well. Also loved Xira the Draekon, and hope we do get to see more of him in the rest of the series. So happy with the way this book ended also. but still think I preferred the second book.

Draekora, though still absolutely brilliant, wasn't as enjoyed by me as the first couple. Because there was barely any Kaiden, and there was no Declan or the combat boys!! And I tell you, if Declan and the combat boys were real, I would be hunting them down as we speak.

In Draekora Alex is sent back in time where she meets young Aven, Zain, Kyia, Niyx and Roka. As she nudges things in the direction that they are in the future, she learns all about these young characters and becomes close friends with Aven. She is also bonded with a Draekora, a dragon type creature called Xiraxus who is hilarious, along with his mum. The whole book is full of humour, as per this series, and Lynette Noni didn't disappoint.

I love the time travel aspect of this book - it was great to go back and see the characters from a different perspective. Also, I love Niyx and am so incredibly invested in him.
