Ugh. I had high hopes for this book but god this was a chore. First off, this book is flat as hell like the first but, it's also confusing. The whole plot is central to the idea that cat rescue volunteer Tessa did something to piss of a dragon bad enough to warrant a hit? It gets explained at the end but it makes the whole book confusing and weird. The plot holes are very glaring and I kinda wish I never read this book. I won't be reading the next two books, partly because this one sucked and partly because the third book is about the violent crazy person from book 1 (I think) and book 4 is about Ben's old af dad. Would not recommend.

Ben is what we girls like to call a cinnamon roll. He was so freaking sweet while being protective as well. And Tessa was such a great person. I loved her animal rescue and how Ben's best trait was his kitten love. I mean a guy holding a bunch of sweet little kittens....yes. sign me up.

Absolutely loved this book and the characters. Tessa is great and I like how she feels with darius and the kittens and I don't even like house cats.

All the cats!
Such a fun read. I enjoyed watching Ben and Tessa figure out their relationship and the antics of the kittens…so funny. It was a great addition to the series and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
