⭐️⭐️🌶️🌶️ I’m coming to find bodyguard romances aren’t my jam. I’m not sure what it is that just doesn’t do it for me but here we are.

* The premise that Hendrick Holland used to be a football star &then out of nowhere gets called up to the NHL without an audition &just bodyguarding as a side gig was a bit of a reach for me. Jane Greenfield was fine. There wasn’t much memorable there.

* I felt the book was a bit cheesier than the rest of them. I found myself rolling my eyes a lot. I didn’t find their chemistry to be as real.

* The narration was fantastic but unfortunately couldn’t boost up my star rating.

* I’m glad the series is over.

Themes:
* Bodyguard
* Grumpy sunshine
* Age gap (5 years)
* Former football player

This story book conclued to the Campus Wallflowers series in a gorgeous way. I didn’t want Jane and Hendrick to end. I loved the jokes, the humour, their love, all the banters, the friendship, well everything…

Well where do I start… This book made me feel happy, I kept smiling and giggling mostly cause of the Holland’s Brothers. Please @rebeccajenshak tell me that you’ll write a series with them, pretty please. Knox, Flynn, Archer and Brogan were an incredible bonus to this book, and they made me love this book even more.

I love Jane, I knew her from the last book, I already loved her personality and in this book it was really good to get to know her more. I enjoyed her story and the way she try to run into Hendrick on purpose. She was very funny, contrary to him who was mostly grumpy, but it didn’t matter to me because I’m in love with Grumpy/Sunshine. I’m jealous of the bond she share with her friend group, I would love to have that in my life too.

I loved the way Hendrick was describe, not easy guy, not a playboy, just a man who’s willing to do anything for his brothers even if it’s to be far from them. His past made my heart broke a bit for him, he as a vulnerability that felt so real.

I also appreciated the mystery part, cause I didn’t expected how it turned.
Well, I don’t know if you catch it, but by my words I think you can tell that I loved this book. It was gorgeously beautiful and I recommend it. There just one more thing I have to say is that I’m sad, because it’s now finished.

“Bodyguard, boyfriend, friend, whatever you want to call me is up to you. I’m yours and that’s all that matters. But to everyone else, I want them to know that I’m the guy they have to answer to if they hurt you.”

I absolutely loved this! I mean, the mystery in it wasn't that mysterious to me and I guessed who was behind the threats super early on, but that didn't really bother me! I loved Jane and Hendrick too much to care about guessing who the culprit was.. I also loved all the Holland brothers so much and loved their relationship, I hope they get a series of their own!!
I think this might just be my second favorite book in this series alongside Hating the Player.

The author has a bonuschapter on her website of a few of her books. It's short but fun.
