It might be better with better headphones. I had issues with the volume of some characters speaking. I enjoyed the action and a lot of the plot.

Audio was uneven. Making it difficult to listen. This is dramatized, and characters are meant to be heard at different distances. However, my complaints go beyond that of what it’s to be expected of a traumatization to just that audio.

This was so boring, and I’m going to blame it on the media style. Since this is a podcast format, there was ZERO narration, and that made me totally and utterly apathetic towards all the characters who actually, somehow, had no character. The plot didn’t stand out from any other supernatural/zombie story. I thought the contribution of Norse culture/mythology would save it a little, but there was barely any representation. Audio quality was spotty and some parts were hard to understand. Not a fan. Wouldn’t recommend.

Probably would like this a lot more if it was a show. Maybe.

Beyond Strange Lands was fun to listen to.. but it definitely got crazy and out of control. At one point, I think I zoned out (on accident) and was confused about what was happening. In it, you meet a family that is doing some paranormal investigations. Like I said before, this book definitely got crazy. I mean.. what do you expect when you get a book filled with so many unusual creatures and such?

In the end, it was an okay book.

3.5. Not the most compelling story, but I love the idea of a paranormal story presented this way.

Absolutely awful
Bad story terrible sound editing difficult to hear most of the time and the story is just pure torture.

This story is very chaotic and I could not finish it.
I was pretty excited to get an "experience" but all of the noises made it difficult to tell who was speaking characterwise and it was just very difficult to follow. I like the idea of this being a show, and visually watching this unfold would probably be a lot easier.

I enjoyed this for what it was. An escape. Some things were hokey, but sometimes that goes with the territory.

I have literally no idea what the ever-living f was going on in this book. It made no sense and had no storyline as far as I could discern (other than "purple means evil omg"). Seriously. It's like this was written by AI - it makes no sense.
