My favorite Shakespeare play of all time. By which I mean I only pay real attention for 1/3 of the play, namely when Beatrice and Benedick are on stage, but holy shit do I pay attention then. I love these two bickering idiots SO MUCH.

"I will live in thy heart, die in thy lap and be buried in thy eyes - and moreover, I will go with thee to thy uncle's."

This book only took a few hours to get through. It was a very funny and enjoyable Shakespeare play and the spark notes translation provides some useful details. I rated it a 3 star book because i don't think it's the best Shakespeare play I've ever read.

"Ye light o' love, with your heels! then, if your husband have stables enough, you'll see he shall lack no barns"

translation:
you're "light on love" sure enough - our frivolous dancing proves you have light heels! (slang for sexually loose) When you're married one of these days, if your husband is rolling in dough, you'll let him roll in the hay whenever he wants.

Noget sagde mig, at jeg skulle holde op med at læse dårlige romantiske bøger, så i stedet er jeg gået i gang med at læse alle de gode gamle. Og sikke en start!

A new favorite Shakespeare. Lots of love, wordplay, and miscommunications. Fairly easy to read without guidance, but the character of Dogberry tends to use the opposite of the word he is looking for. So the notes pointing out these 'slip ups' are really quite helpful.
