I received a complimentary Kindle e-book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own. Thank you to James Patterson & Maxine Paetr; Little, Brown and Company, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.
Okay, this is the 24th novel/novella 3rd book in the Women's Murder Club. I really enjoyed the books at the beginning of the series; however, the books have gotten somewhat tired as the series has progressed.
The premise is great - four female friends who work together: a homicide cop, coroner, prosecutor, and newspaper reporter. This series could have been SO much more. It is a fast read!
I would suggest reading the TWENTY-FOUR other books first to get the backstory and understand the characters better.

Bit of a slow read and the storylines were a bit all over the place. 3 different stories going on at the same time with no link together.

It was fine. I was annoyed with Boxer's story because there was a lot of repetition. I liked Yuki's story best but it fell flat in the end.
