Hey guys, so finally I had some free time(and made time) to read, and The Apprentices Quest, Warriors Vision of Shadows arc was one of the newest ebooks, and frankly one of the quicker ones to get through. Sad!y, I thought it would be more interesting, but honestly, it felt like the same old patterns, the same old tricks, same plot lines. Guess that's what happens when you write like 25 books In the same series, starts to get repetitive. So yeah, I was disappointed in this book, mostly because it felt like some serious deja vu. Additionally, I wanted to know how some of the older characters were fairing, likE lionblaze, not just who died and then it only focuses in on like 3 characters. Sighs, maybe I'm just in a different place now than 6 months ago when I was fawning over the series. I hate to say it, but I didn't even cry during that one characters death. So yeah..... probably won't read the next ones, though I might read a few reviews once other people have read them just to keep tabs with the story. But I ain't gonna spend my money, luckily this book was like only 2 bucks.

This book was just pure nostalgia and I loved every second. I read the Warriors series throughout elementary and middle school and now that I’m in college I still find that I enjoy them immensely!!

This book was difficult for me to get into, because it's the beginning of a new series and I felt disoriented by the time skip. I read "Bramblestar's Storm" and "Crowfeather's Trial" before beginning "The Apprentice's Quest," but even so, I was hit hard by the realization that very few characters from the original series remain. ThunderClan is filled with cats whose personalities I barely know, and apprentices from "Bramblestar's Storm" such as Snowpaw and Lilypaw are now parents themselves, which is a little too fast-paced for my liking.
Still, my reticence for change aside, there are many aspects of this book I enjoy.ed I like Alderpaw, for instance, and Needlepaw, especially considering we're getting main characters from ShadowClan as well as ThunderClan now. I'm also happy to see SkyClan making a reappearance in the plot, and I'm looking forward to how that plot-line develops in the rest of this series. I will do my best to keep an open mind and enjoy this series as I go!

This book wasn’t BAD but it definitely wasn’t interesting. what is it with warriors and traveling arcs? they are boring!! anyway, Alderpaw and Needlepaw are the only interesting new characters. I don’t really care for Sparkpaw all that much she’s kinda annoying. I like Alderpaw’s anxiety and self consciousness as a character trait because basically all the other characters fall flat. the issue is this is literally just A New Prophecy but…a bit worse. Cherryfall, Molewhisker, and Sparkpaw are so flat compared to let’s say Feathertail, Crowpaw, and even Squilf. I WAS very saddened by Sandstorm’s death. It felt just a bit unnecessary and maybe she should’ve died in battle where, like she said, is better than withering away in the elders den. but alas, hopefully the other books will take a step up from this.
