This volume’s tales were even more out of chronological order, and the characters continued to sound not like themselves. There were also some details left out or glossed over that felt important to include.
Graphic: Kidnapping and Fire/Fire injury
Moderate: Confinement, Violence, and War

Highly recommend not reading this at all. It adds nothing to the lore nor the story. If you have seen the original series, you will 100% not learn anything new in this book.

Same issues with it like the other one, but I found this slightly more interesting even when I already knew everything

Interesting information about the fire nation. I skipped through some of the stories.

While created in the early days of ATLA, it still gives some good fats about the Fire Nation's culture though I would have liked more considering the history in the show. Still a good collector's item for ATLA fans.

Continuing to work my way through all of the Avatar the Last Airbender Scrolls, and this time, I found myself reading about the Fire nation, thanks to Tom Mason and Dan Danko. I loved hearing from Zuko in this scroll, which makes up (only a little bit) for missing Toph in the last one. Much like the first two books, this text features fast facts and legends surrounding the nations, in this case: Fire. I really wanted to know more about the fire nation here, since for a huge part of the show, the fire nation is completely evil, but the book didn’t go too much into detail about the nation, much like the earlier two scrolls. This did bring a wave of nostalgia, but I think that unless you’re looking for the same stories in a different medium, this doesn’t add anything. If you’re an avid fan of the show like myself, I’m sure you’ll enjoy recounting the gaang’s adventures, but otherwise there isn’t much new information to be had.
