For children. But still a good read for kids. (Even though it is up to the end of Season 1.)

It's kind of just a recap of the show, but I love it for the nostalgia. While most of the stories are simple retellings, the information between stories is way more interesting. I love the quick tidbits about the local fauna and the culture. It doesn't cover everything, naturally, but there's stuff here they never bring up in the show, like which martial art styles from the real world Firebenders use.

This book should not be read in place of watching the show, but it could definitely make for some fun bedtime reading for kids.
