My six year old gives 5 stars and I agree. Very cute bedtime story - and I love how it written from a child’s perspective of how to help a dinosaur get to bed. A cute and creative way to get kids thinking about how to get ready for bed in a way that lets them be the ones in control.

Im unsure who exactly this book is for.. it seems mostly a book for the adults trying to put their children to sleep. Perhaps it can be used as a way to explain to the child why it needs to sleep - because mommy and daddy needs sleep too! It seemed a little too on the nose and surely there is a better way of handling this type of conversation with your child. This book really feels like it talks down to children. Children are smarter than this.. they can feel when they are condescended. I didn't like the book and can't recommend it.

The adorable and silly illustrations in this story will engage young readers while teaching them valuable nighttime routines. Parents will relate to the struggles of bedtime while children will get a laugh. This would be a great choice for a bedtime read, especially for a resistant child.

I grabbed this one to read to my daughter as well because it looked cute and she likes Dino’s ahha. This book was super short but it was funny and rang true if you change the dinosaur and insert my child Hahaa. She actually loved it a lot too. We had to read it twice because she liked it so much haha.
