Sometimes I just wished Raquel made better decisions and that Ares didn’t have to feel like loving someone was a bad thing.

First of all, I am beyond thrilled that I could read such a long book entirely in Spanish. Secondly, oh my, what the fuck have I read? I have laughed, I have cried and I have judged hehe. It was such a bumpy ride to get through and I am here for it. My only concern was this one scene
when Raquel has passed out after the Halloween party and Ares is helping her get cleaned up etc., but then he starts talking about how much he wants to fuck her while se is barely conscious and has just puked her guts out. He is is seriously thinking about raping her, and then he just does a 180 and like "no I'm gonna be a gentleman and dress her with my clothes so I won't be tempted anymore" Like wtf is there to be tempted by by an unconscious woman?..
and that felt so wrong even though nothing really happened in the end, it felt wrong to read as if it was supposed to be sexy or romantic. That's all for me now, I'm gonna start reading the second one soon, and I am beyond excited to read about Artemis the iceberg.

This book was interesting. The romance plot is VERY cringing and it’s hard to read. And then there are pretty vulgar sex scenes that feel uncomfortable for high schooler.

Ares and Raquel have my heart <3
“I was stalking you, too, you silly witch.” “What?” “We never ran out of internet. I asked Apolo to pretend with me. It was my excuse to talk to you. You’ve always had my attention, Witch.”

And I know that, when hardship comes, we will both give 100 percent to the fight. Maybe it will defeat us or maybe we will prevail, only time will tell. Even if it ends at some point, I will be able to say that I fought until the last second, until I couldn’t fight anymore, because I know he will too. We are the witch and the Greek god after all. The one who felt everything, and the one who felt nothing. Now we both feel more than enough.
