April walked in on her husband sleeping with someone else. She left him and everything and went to London to go to law school. She had little to no money so she was working at a coffee cafe.
Sebastian walked into a coffee shop and laid eyes on the more gorgeous woman ever, April. He kept coming back to flirt with her daily even though she makes the worse coffee ever.
April needed more money and had applied at a high price bar as a bartender. When she finally got an interview they had offered her another job as an escape girl. Guys would bid on the girls and the girls get to pick who they would spend the night with and they would get a percentage of the bid. The first night she was there she was on stage and locked eyes with Sebastian. She picked him even though she had promised herself she would have sex with the men she didn’t keep that promise. They spent two wonderful weeks.
One night April and her friend from the university were going to the movies but he had to stop somewhere first. When they got to the front porch her friend confessed his love to her and kissed her as the door opened. She was shocked to see it was Sebastian who opened the door. That was when she found out her friend was Sebastian’s son. She was horrified but to make matters worse Sebastian called her a high price whore. That night she ran and transferred schools. Six years later had landed her dream job. That was until she wanted into Sebastian’s office as part of his crisis team as he was now the deputy prime minister of the UK.
@tlswanauthor did it again with this book. Sebastian was a very wounded made and it took a strong woman to piece him back together and April was that strong woman. I really enjoyed this book.

Oh Sebastian, you broke my heart. You broke April’s heart more than once. And I couldn’t put this book down.
Book 3 of the “Mister series” finds us getting to know Sebastian Garcia and wow. My heart was in my throat throughout much of this book, it’s more emotional and heart wrenching than the other 2 books for sure, and his best friends, Julian (book 1) and Spencer (book 2) are right there for Sebastian when he needs their support. Sebastian has ghosts and issues in his past that affect how he is today. It’s a lot. And I loved this damaged man from page 1.
As this story opens, billionaire architect Sebastian Garcia has become Deputy Prime Minister (his political aspirations were discussed a bit in book 2). Julian and Spence are back and again, my favorite part of this series is these three men bantering and giving advice to each other. Readers definitely need to read this series in order or you’ll miss so much about these 3 characters.
April is a 2nd year law student in London on scholarship and is trying to make ends meet - her part time job in a cafe isn’t doing it and she applies as a bartender at a Gentleman’s club - or so she thinks. In the meantime, she first meets Sebastian when he comes into the coffee cafe. Her second meeting? Yep - at the Gentleman’s club. Let the emotional angst begin.
This is a compelling, emotional read, and I stayed up late to finish this book. I had to; I was so invested in Seb and April. April is written as a very strong, but guarded, woman and she continues to pleasantly surprise the reader throughout the story as she matures. There’s heartbreaking tears in the first 100 pages…..you’ll probably be angry at Sebastian more than once……then we skip forward a few years…..they meet again in the professional environment…….and wow. The story picks up fast.
I fear giving away spoilers at this point, so I’ll just encourage you to read first about Julian Masters and the nanny he can’t seem to stay away from (book 1) Spencer Jones and the innocent Lady Charlotte he insists on pursuing (book 2) before you dive into this book - and be warned. You’ll get so invested in Seb and April you’ll stay up late too in order to get to their well-deserved Happily Ever After.
The epilogue here includes all 3 billionaire friends and their families and it’s a beautiful ending to the series.
