Murphy and Sabrina’s story. They have been friends since they were young and now that they are in college things are heating up. Sabrina has always had a bit of a crush on Murphy and been a bit bitchy to him because of it. That fades quickly once he shows his interest in her as well. Murphy is loud, funny, and larger than life. I loved him. Sabrina is the daughter of a political family and has lived her life knowing her every move is watched. As the two of them fall for one another they are faced with what it really means to be part of her family. Watching their dedication to one another while navigating that is beautiful. I loved how she stood up to her family for Murphy and their relationship. I loved how devoted and supporting Murphy was with her. It was a wonderful balance of independence and still being there for family.
This book is full of funny moments, a very sad tragedy, great banter, and very hot steam.
It can be read as a standalone, but you'll know the side characters a lot better if you read the series in order. The side characters are a big part of this author's writing; all of her books follow the same groups and it's a much richer experience to know them as they are introduced.

Mah heart!!!! There was so many feelings in this book. Murphy really surprised me and I love it. I still am saying Bash is my dark horse. I most definitely have a type! Look forward to the authors upcoming works!

3.5/5.0: The story was good but I felt like the romance was rushed. The writing was also a little choppy. But I will continue with the series!

I am not sure what has taken me so long to finish this series, but I regret every second this book sat on my kindle. I loved this story so much, even if it made me cry.

Sabrina is introduced as being the Senator’s daughter but she is also friends with Chloe and Natalie so she starts coming around more to the parties. Brina is hard working and driven, but she also doesn’t want to be in the spotlight. Murphy is your typical football star who is loving life and enjoying all the girls that come with it. But a huge scare causes him to lean on Brina and they end up developing a friendship. I loved watching their relationship develop as they went from acquaintances to developing their friendship and eventually into lovers.

Murphy and Brina have the kind of supportive relationship that everyone prays to have one day. They each took turns being there for one another and giving a shoulder to lean on. Neither one ran when things got rough and I really liked their fight to be together. Sabrina was such a lovely character who was very kind and sweet but she also showed off her feisty vindictive side! You are definitely going to swoon over Murphy. This story was beautifully written and will be sure to make you cry. “Be careful with my heart Murphy” “I'll guard it with my life princess”

Murphy and Sabrina are absolutely perfect.

Loved the story. Loved them.

This book had all the feels. The supporting characters are all great, too. I look forward to getting to know all of them.

Bella is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

I adore Sabrina. She is the kind of character that you can identify with immediately, her inner strength and ability to handle whatever life throws at her. Murph starts out on shaky ground with me because he seemed to be so superficial, but as I read his story, I understood him better. And once he decided Sabrina was it for him, I loved the way he treated her. Their story is heartwarming and beautiful.
