The smell of warming sugar filled the air; the richness of chocolate giving his senses a hug of sweetness. The counter was filled with decadent dark chocolates, milk chocolates, and white chocolate treasures. It was a chocolate wonderland and the man behind the counter might even make this place heaven on earth.

Up to Snow Good is an MM romance following Max and Luca. Max is on a winter holiday in the small French town where he runs into Luca at his chocolatier shop.

This was such a cute Christmas novella! The setting was stunning and I loved being immersed in a small town in France during the winter season. Luca and Max were fun to get to know and all the chocolates were making my mouth water. A steamy holiday read with lots of joy on the pages.

Warning: you will be craving all the chocolate after reading this one!

This was a pretty cute book. It was pretty short, and the insta-love was real strong, so it wasn't really my favorite, but it was super cute. There were light elements of kink, which was a nice twist to a pretty typical Christmas romance. I really liked Luca, and I liked Max, too, but I would have enjoyed him more if his golden retriever tendencies had been more present at the beginning of the book. The start of the book made it feel like he was a really stuck up, entitled prick. And while he definitely was a little entitled, he was so much more of a softie than the book made it seem at the beginning, and I feel like that tainted him for me a little as the story went on. Overall, it was cute and I did enjoy it.

Vibes - Good

Sweet and spicy
This was so sweet and not just for all the reference of food, specifically chocolate that had me drooling. Max was very golden retriever energy. I liked how he conferred with his best friend and his brother to check his privilege since he grew up rich and was actively trying not to be an entitled asshat. Luca is a good balance for him, a little grumpy but grounded and kind. It's a little insta-love but it worked for me here.
