Up to Snow Good can be read as a standalone, but follows after Snow Way in Hell, Charlie Novak's previous holiday story and gives us a HEA for Tarquin's brother Max.

After getting off on the wrong foot with Luca, Max spends his vacation working to get closer to Luca and working with him too! It's an instant attraction, insta-love vacation romance that just warms your heart and makes you want to head for the snowy mountains yourself to cool off!

If you need a feel good holiday story with a dose of steam, a LOT of chocolate and two very sweet men, look no further than Up To Snow Good.

Circumstances have the sweet and full of sunshine Max coming into the orbit of Luca, the over stressed brilliant chocolatier. After a less then perfect first meeting they get to know each other when Max assists at the extremely busy chocolaterie. Their whirlwind romance has plenty of steam, minimal angst and when these two wonderful men finally have a discussion about the future, a beautiful HEA.

This is a very easy to read, enjoyable Christmas romance that heavily features chocolate!

This was a pretty enjoyable story! The timeline moved quickly, with Max and Luca's relationship making a lot of progress in just four days. But while it got physically pretty quickly, the emotional connection they both started to develop around the midpoint was genuinely sweet.  If you're looking for a holiday story with steam, sweetness, and a lot of praising from the MMC's this is a great pick!

this was absolutely adorable! I didn't think all of the time spent explaining stuff in the first chapter or so was necessary, which is really the reason for not giving it more stars (because it is 5 stars of adorableness the writing was just not quite up to what I was expecting at some points). but really this was delightful to read

This novella was absolutely adorable and I didn’t want to put it down!

Max Felstead has major golden retriever energy and I was here for it. He planned a holiday for him, his brother and his best friend and decided to make things even more special for their anniversary by planning surprises for them. He’s a sweetheart who is genuinely interested in making sure the people around him are happy and taken care of. But he’s also a little naive about the world around him and how he presents himself, but once he makes up his mind about something, he’s all in on that decision.

Luca Veratti is an Italian chocolatier at the best chocolate shop in Chamonix and during the holiday season when he’s down an employee, he’s never been more stressed about making things work. He’s dedicated to his craft and loves to stock his shop with amazing chocolates, even when he only gets a few hours of sleep to do it. When Max walks into his shop, he’s annoyed but never expects for it to change everything.

Their relationship starts with an unfortunate interaction between Max and Luca and leads to Max doing everything he can to make up for his behavior. He gives up his holiday to help Luca out at the shop and they quickly realize that their connection is an important one, one worth risking everything to pursue. I really enjoyed these two together and loved their high-speed relationship full of adorable and steamy encounters.

Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet, low angst holiday story this year!

If there was ever a script for a European, queer, Christmas Hallmark movie, this was definitely it.

This book was adorable. It was a very quick read, with endearing characters, and a wonderful happy ending. Max comes across as a bit of a snob at first, but his heart is definitely in the right place, while Luca is a lonely workaholic.

Sparks definitely fly at first, and there isn't quite as much banter as I usually appreciate in my romantic pairings, but Max and Luca are adorable and endearing all the same.

I loved watching them go all in, and throw caution to the wind as they developed their relationship. Instead of running from the things they were feeling, they fully embraced them, and took the chance on something that would make them both happy.

Up to Snow Good was truly a fun, fast, enjoyable read! And again, I've found another new author I need to read more from!
