Very Interesting and engaging throughout the whole thing. Some good twists and unexpected turns.

Intro to FBI Profiler

.... and by that all they do is introduce him. Much more of a romance novel than the other books in the series. And it wasn’t always clear who was really the bad guy and who was just spouting a theory orb”vision”.

Yikes, this was bad. I was happy to see some older Lisa Gardner books on the shelf of a vacation rental, since I had just read and enjoyed her latest: “Before She Disappeared”. This earlier series is so hollow compared to that one! The reader is lurching from psychopath on the loose, to endangered, battered wife, to nihilistic sexy guy fighting with his sister about her sexual abuse. These cutouts with Big Problems are not believable and the plot is overblown with a severed head, keystone cops and sex scenes. I skipped a lot to see how it concluded because it was so irritating. I’m glad the author developed past this level.

Although slow at parts, this book was a good read and I liked it very much. I enjoyed the story line however the ending was quite predictable.
