Two short stories that relate to other works she’s done. Both are good and told well.

What a clever marketing scheme. Picoult introduces Serenity Jones, from new novel, Leaving Time in this short story offered free on Kindle. I was so caught up in the story, I can't wait to read the book!

Surprisingly enough, despite having a Kindle library full of Picoult books, this is the first thing I've read! Loved it. One to the next prequel...

Makes me want to read more...
Easy to read. Interesting storyline not sure how Picoult comes up with a unique storyline every time, but she does.

Anyone who knows me knows I love Jodi Picoult. Hands down, definitely one of my favorite authors. I like reading the short stories that are aligned with her novels. That being said, this one just didn’t hit the mark for me. I wanted it to add something to Serenity’s story, and I felt like it just rephrased the elements of the story that I already knew. It’s definitely a quick read, but I’m not sure if it’s a necessary one.

A short back story about Serenity. Great to know more about her after reading 'Leaving Time'.
