I honestly love this book so much. It's not just the grovel, it's the whole world and its lore these characters are inhabiting. It only gets better with each reread as I pick up in different threads.

Now, Killian Kelly is a brute, but there is so much context to his actions and in the grand scheme of these books his rejection has a lot more context than some of the others. Una is amazing and so very obviously in charge. Her dignity throughout is fantastic and I love them both so much.

I enjoyed this book more on a second read. Some of the omniverse tropes are a bit cringy, but I adore a hero who gets possessive and grovels for his wallflower.

This series does a great job with the concept of the wolves being a distinct alternate personality.

It's cool that Killian is trying to be less sexist but it would be cooler if he didn't need a woman he wants to have sex with to make him realize it's a problem. Other than that very meh on the plot, the characters in general, and especially their relationship with each other.

This is my first shifter romance and I absolutely loved it start to finish! The characters, the tension, the world development was amazing!

This was my first proper omegaverse book and I donā€™t really know how I feel about it, Iā€™m leaning towards nope not for me. This still had that same addictive quality that all of Cateā€™s books seem to have but it didnā€™t suck me in the same way her small town romances did. I did however LOVE the grovelling and I did have a whole lot of fun which is why I rated it so highly. I also really loved Una so extra points for her!

I would recommend it if you want a medium spicy way to dip your toes into the omegaverse world and if you canā€™t resist a good bit of grovelling.

this wasnā€™t what i was expecting but i loved it! i really enjoyed the writing style and the characters i just wish there was more tension and development. i think iā€™d like it more with a reread and managed expectations.

I read the fourth book in this series first as it was part of a giveaway. I loved that this first one focused on Una and Killian as I had already liked her character. Una is a great MC - strong, smart, brave. Her and Killianā€™s love story was unexpectedly sweet. I liked this one much better than the fourth one, and it has me rethinking some of the things that I didnā€™t love about the fourth in light of events and characterizations in this one.

I laughed so much, but also felt feelings.  Killian Jā€™s so dumb, but he ended up being the endearing kind of dumb.  Una was very much a girl crush.  She deserves every good thing and I love her.  I want to see all her girls fall in love (though I am a bit worried about Mariā€™s age gap situation), especially Kennedy.  Kennedy was my favorite of the side characters.

I instantly liked Una and her personality and wanted to punch Killian where it hurts šŸ˜¤

The pack history was interesting, angering but interesting...and you don't find many shifter books where mated pairs sleep with other people...so that was something I wasn't expecting.

Loved that Una constantly challenged Killian and didn't back down from his BS...which was A LOT. haha Really wish he'd done more groveling tbh šŸ˜¤

Overall it was a fun read and I'll most likely be checking out the rest of the series šŸ’œ
