I'd been waiting with bated breath to see what happens and I was not disappointed. This book, Ava's story--Luke's story--the stories separate and together both rip me apart. So much darkness. Thankfully no matter how dark things get, the light always breaks through, little by little, until it's a full-on shine. I love little Piper. I loved getting to see the family again... Lucas, Tessa, Jade, Ryan, etc. This is one of my favorite series/families to date and I am looking forward to reading the next one!

Glad there was a HEA. That's all I ever need. Anyways, Luke's character development was good. I can't say great because I was really rooting for Thomas until the author decided to kill him in Book 1, like why would you do that?!

Love... love wasn't good enough. Because if it was, Luke & Ava would've had their HEA a long time ago. Maybe it's just me or whatever, but the connection between Luke & Ava didn't even come close to what she had with Thomas. It's more of repentance on Luke's part than building linkage.

Took me awhile to push through this one. The beginning was good, as this was a continuation of the story. Finally things getting faced and Luke stepping up and not running. It was ok just not all the feels I was hoping for.

Luke redeems himself in this book. He was a complete d-bag in Ava's story, breaking her heart. But you knew there had to be a story. He couldn't possibly be the guy to string a woman along for seven year just for an itch. Luckily he wasn't. He had his work cut out for him with Ava. He broke her heart, her trust and her faith in him. It's an uphill battle, but it was one he was willing to fight, even if that meant going up against her family and his own.

I love these types of duologies. Where you get different sides to a story. Not the total rehash but an actual look from the other perspective with other events you didn’t see. And this story built on that and moved the story forward.
Luke was a dick in the first book and with this book, I got to see his perspective. He was still a dick but I came to respect him and how he became who he was.
There are some plot holes and a few convenient solutions but I loved Ava and the babies and Luke too.

I couldn't wait to start reading 27 Lies, especially since the way 27 Truths ended. I needed to know how this story would end, I needed to know if there'd be light after so much darkness. Ugh, this book, this book gave me what I so desperately thought was lost. There were lies, hence the title, but within those lies truth embedded itself. I didn't know how I'd feel about Luke because he sure-as-hell was the epitome of an a**hole. Nevertheless, he redeemed himself, boy did he freakin' redeem himself. I applaud you Luke Lane for being the knight I always knew you were. In a time when Ava needed you (even though she would never admit it) it was beautiful to be apart of that journey. To see you love her, but above-all-else to see the way you loved Hope and Chance, now that gave me all the feels. There isn't Luke without Ava or an Ava without Luke, you both grew so much and I was so ecstatic to watch your love blossom. And with all that love, Faith was born and that was pretty damn epic.

OH MY GOD IT WAS SO SO SO GOOD!!!!! I've read almost all of MJ's books and by far The truth about love series is the best. I mean, all of her goods catch you like a net catches fish, but she has improved her writing so much that now, when I'm reading her books I'm not mentally correcting the grammar and spelling mistakes and I'm actually really enjoying the plot. Please do not stop writing MJ, you are doing an awesome job. Can't wait for London and Logan's book to come. June 2017 is sooooo far away.
