This is a light sports romance book but I found it a little corny. I don't see that much chemistry aside from their flirty banters. I think I mostly skimmed some chapters and I don't understand why I didn't just DNF it especially since there's not much of a plot going on.

Brother’s best friend. Teach me how to fuck. Pro ball player and team owner.

Dead dads. Bad relationships. No body diversity. No baby in the epilogue, yay!

In March I was so excited when Lauren Blakely released the prequel novella The Rules of Friends with Benefits. (The novella is still free on Amazon at the time of this review.) It was fantastic and set the stage for Nadia and Crosby's friends-to-lovers tale told in this book, The Virgin Rule Book. This week I started reading The Virgin Rule Book, and knew immediately I was going to love it! Not far into it I had to stop and purchase the audiobook because it was a super-busy day and I didn't want to put the book down, but I had so much to do. Luckily, two of my favorite narrators, Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon, were there to entertain me while I knocked off items on my to-do list. Their performances were so good! I thought it was so cool that Nadia was a professional football team owner and it gave her so much in common with professional baseball player Crosby. He was so darn charming and pretty much perfect! Their banter was spot-on and chemistry was undeniable. What a great start to a new series!

Oh Crosby and Nadia really stole my heart in this story. I very much enjoyed this book, the charaters and the secondary charaters

The book was cute and I do recommend this book. It’s such a good for when you don’t want to think about what you are reading or when you are trying to get out of slump.

Before I begin this review, I have a question. Can I be Nadia when I grow up? She is, without a doubt, one of the coolest heroines I've read in a while. How can she not be? She owns a flipping NFL team, got ovaries of steel, the ultimate poker face, and she's not afraid to speak up. Crosby is a delight, full of mischief, a great friend, and all the other superlatives. Their story makes writing this review a breeze!

Go. Buy. The. Book. Simple. You need to read it, laugh, sigh, and generally delight in everything that is The Virgin Rule Book. It moves smoothly; the storyline is heart-engaging from the get-go. We get to interact with some characters from Lauren's previous books, namely Scarlett from the One Week Husband. And with Nadia and the team's move to San Francisco, the stage is being set for some more fun rom-coms.

This book is delightfully low angst but filled with heart and so much goodness. It doesn't come off hokey or contrived; it's just a fun book. Both characters are people you would love to talk to and laugh with, or better yet, watch sports with and have a drink. I am so thrilled I got to read this story of fun, friendship, family, friends, and finally finding the "right one."

The Virgin Rule Book is a charming, low angst brother's best friend, friends-to-lovers romance filled with a ton of heart, witty dialogue and so much red hot chemistry. There is nothing accidental about how much I enjoyed this book.

Lauren Blakely continues to give us a couple that is very easy to root for. Nadia and Crosby are so perfect together. The connection between them is clear early in the story. Both successful in their fields - he's an all star baseball player, she's the owner of a football team - I love how they build each other up; Crosby especially. Him not being intimidated by her success nor her brilliance is so hot to me. I just loved them.

There is something about a Lauren Blakely friends to lovers romance that just makes my heart sing. Maybe it's because it feels genuine and real. You can feel how much these characters care for one another. It's a comfort for me.

If you're looking for a cute easy read that will give you all the giddy good vibes, you can't go wrong with The Virgin Rule Book.

The Virgin Rule Book is the first book in a new series, Rules of Love, by my favorite author, Lauren Blakely. I've read every word she's written and nothing makes me happier than when she starts a new series. This series is going to be epic! We're getting three sexy baseball players and the strong, independent women who they fall for. Nadia is Crosby's best friend's little sister. Crosby always had a little thing for her when they were younger, but she was young and he didn't think his best friend would like that. They've kept in touch over the years and now that she's moving back to town, he's excited to see more of her. But he just swore off women so there's no chance of anything real with her. When they both need dates to so upcoming parties, this is the perfect solution. Have fun with Nadia and not have to worry about getting involved. Until she has a proposition for him and then it's game on! Spend more time with Nadia? Take her V card? Yes, please! Turns out, they like each other more than a little, but it's complicated. There have to be rules to follow so no one gets hurts. But you know what they say, rules are meant to be broken! Oh Crosby! I love you so much! You're sexy, sweet, talented and you have such a big heart. Nadia is independent, funny and even though she's a virgin she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it! Overall, I laughed, smiled, got tingles and couldn't get enough of Crosby and Nadia! I'm in love with this new series and these characters and I can't wait for more.

Audio: As Always Teddy and Erin are fantastic. I don't think anyone else could be Crosby and Nadia! Perfect narration, perfect casting!

I loved Crosby and Nadia’s fun & flirty friendship in The Rules of Friends with Benefits. They are just as perfect together in The Virgin Rulebook. It took them a week to realize what their family has known for years;)

I absolutely can not wait for the audiobook to come out because Lauren has done it again! Crosby & Nadia are cute together as friends and their friends are awesome too…but Lauren definitely turned the heat up for TVRB…Crosby & Nadia are seriously hot together
