Mickey Russo says, "I don't like that Bo and Junie B were fighting. You have to ask before you can have two flower petals. I liked that they became best friends."

I liked this book a lot. It kinda cracked me up that Junie B was having boy problems in kindergarten.

The anxiety I would feel if someone else's child announced to me that they were going to be a flower girl in my wedding

Eleanor rates this book 5 stars. She says she liked when Junie B asked nicely if she could have two petals, and at first she didn't ask nicely. She liked when Junie B told the truth. Eleanor also liked when Junie B and Bo became friends.

Why did I like Junie B. Jones when I was a kid? She is very rude and annoying.

This is the most nostalgic Junie B. for me. My mom found the book at a library and got it for me when I was going to be the flower girl for an older brother's wedding, and then my new sister-in-law gave me the box set of the first 8 Junie B. books, plus this one. I never did understand why Junie B. wanted to be the flower girl so bad, I wasn't particularly impressed with my experience. But then, I've never been a normal child. 🤣 But even so, I love Junie B. and I'm happy for this book giving me the wonderful world that is Junie B. books.

Thank you, Junie B. Jones and Barbara Park, for introducing me to the joys of reading.
In hindsight, I agree that Junie B. is a bit of a brat in this one, but I would like to remind everyone that this is just how kids behaved in the time before parents could give their kids their smartphone to shut them up at a wedding and other important events like that. I can't imagine these stories taking place in the time when smartphones are commonplace. Would Junie B. even be the same wild child? I wouldn't have it any other way.

Junie B. Jones is such an adorable character. I totally get her. I think we all have a little bit of JBJ in us. Ha!
