Went back to this book and finished it but still really struggled with the rather crude portrayal of a sociopath

Much better strucure than first one, kept you interested/reading......think the ending was a little anti-climactic, could have had another twist n turn built in.......

Wow! Even more brilliant and compelling than the first! I can't recommend this series enough - deserving of all the loud praise it's been receiving.

This is a very good second installment in this series. The main characters keep evolving and make the procedural taut. The antagonist/villain is original and believable as a malignant influence. I appreciate the constructive attitude that propels the action; that’s why I’ll be sure to read the next one.

This book continues the development of DI Kim Stone. I did find this one a little slower to read than the previous in the series.
