I just don't like the tsundere trope. When the protagonist just harass each other, it's hard to enjoy anything about the story. However, props to the illustrator - the art is quite good.

I've never been a huge fan of isekai. But the premise is pretty silly and the entire thing is rather ridiculous. If the characters don't get any deeper, then it'll just be a funny story. But there's potential for more if we can actually learn about these characters at all.

This is one of those that follow the strange gl trope of girl obsessed with girl that doesn’t give her the time of today. Combined with a bully romance trope so, it’s just unpleasant all around.

The FMC Rae is obsessively proclaiming her love for Miss Claire despite Claire telling her repeatedly to leave her alone and dumping tea over her, hiding her books, and continuously insulting her. It has the overall effect of making me feel bad for Claire because ultimately the book wants you to think stalking, ogling, and refusing to take no for an answer is cute and funny if it’s a girl doing it to another girl. It’s not.

The sad thing is the world building is kind of interesting here. The isekai concept could’ve been more intriguing and even the romance could’ve worked for me if it was more about her trying to work within the confines of the game to get Claire’s interactions but the FMC is a creep instead. The portion after she becomes her maid was so uncomfortable to read.

Adorable. If you're a fan of My Next Life as a Villainess you'll probably like this, too.

Incredibly disappointed. I love the genre and tropes of the “reincarnated into a novel/game/etc.” stories, and I was incredibly excited to see with a wlw relationship as the focus!!
But Rae’s behavior towards Claire is incredibly creepy, and I often found myself feeling sorry for Claire. Pages 142-143 were the worst for me.
The character writing is also pretty bad. We don’t really know anything about Rae outside of the fact she was an office worker in her previous life, loved playing video games, loves Claire, and is obsessive. Claire is a proud and arrogant bully who has an unrequited love. The banter they have isn’t even funny or entertaining. It’s basically just Rae saying “I love you, Claire!” and then Claire getting weirded out and shouting about how she’s a commoner and needs to know her place. It’s very hallow.

EDIT: changing to 1 stars, I wish I could give it 0. The girls are 15 years old and there are nude and partially nude scenes. Granted nothing is /shown/, but as an adult, this is NOT something I want to see. (Especially since the main character is technically an adult in a child’s body. You couldn’t have made their school a college, author? Ugh.)
