couldn’t get into it at first but definitely warmed up to it at the end. the mmc was the best character out the bunch. LOTS of callbacks to other books - not a true standalone

Really Good Story

I loved the friendships with the girls, and I also really liked the building of the relationship they had. It was a good story, and I can't wait to see what she writes next.

Ease of reading: 3/5

Characters: 3/5
Prax was the best thing about this novel. Though I got the sense he was heavily influenced by the Genie from Disney's animated version of Aladdin.

Plot/Pace: 3/5
Despite being described as a standalone story, it continually made references to characters, agencies and events I had no prior knowledge of.

Was initially intrigued by the synopsis of the novel; unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
