Brilliant!!!

What a wildly funny, unusual, sweet story. An unbelievable yarn, (no one has the luck either Apple or Adam has), very cleverly done. Loved all the characters - Apple is an absolute delight!
I am hoping that this becomes a series, so want to see more of Apple and Adam, also want to get more of The Collective (Vix, Baz, Gareth and Vale).

Recommend unreservedly!!

Unlucky x Lucky!!
Oh my God, I haven’t read a book with this kind of dynamic between characters before, and I have to say — I’m such a fan! Apple is incredibly lucky (like really lucky), while Adam… well, he’s just not. Like, at all. Everyone in town practically worships the ground Apple walks on, which naturally leads to a lot of one-sided tension from Adam. But when Apple discovers that Adam is the ONLY person who’s ever spoken badly about him, he becomes weirdly and incredibly fascinated with him. But I seriously ate up every single one of their interactions, it was simultaneously both so sweet and hilarious.

This novella is ridiculous and OTT and hilarious. I normally don't go for the OTT stuff, but I decided to give it a shot. It gave me the vibe of the Murder Sprees series by Jennifer Cody (without all the murder). OTT but not so much that I couldn't enjoy it.

Apple has crazy good luck. Adam has crazy bad luck. Just like in this author's Psync books, once the MCs touch and are in each other's orbit, it's like they are linked. Their luck starts to mellow out a bit. And they become obsessed and possessive of each other right away.

It's funny. There are a few steamy scenes. And I'm interested enough to want to come back for more of the series to see if I like it when the time comes.

Contains: MM, Lucky, Clumsy.

If you are looking for lucky/clumsy couple this one is perfect for you.

Honestly, imo, I did not understand it. New author for me, new plot, new dynamics, new writing style.

It is a prequel and it's different and weirdly I am totally lost. Not my cuppa tea.

Adam & Apple

This book is so ridiculous and funny, I’m glad I picked it up. Apple has off the charts good luck but is bored out of his mind. Adam has ridiculously awful bad luck and fears for his life and limb every day. After a chance encounter Apple is entranced when Adam is not instantly enthralled by his good luck and decides he is the one.

The house mates are as ridiculous as Adam and Apple and I’m excited to see their books and get some insight into their dynamic.

This book was crazy fun, and just crazy. I’ve had the joy of reading four Zile books by now, and I really enjoy his writing. It flows so well and is just heaps of fun, even when dealing with more serious subjects like in Psync and Quiet. My good friend recommended I read this one, and I’m glad I finally did. If you want something that’s a little bit different, wildly entertaining and short, you should check this one out.
