Not too heavy on the science, well written. Glad I've read it as I'm now less concerned that I'm developing early onset dementia! And I now know how to remember whether I've turned the hair straightener off every morning before work - pay attention and create a visualise image!

This was very well done! I loooove brain science. This filled me in on how and why we remember and forget in a really easy-to-follow, fun-to-read way. Aaand gives easy and practical tips to help you remember what matters. Aaand makes you feel better about regularly forgetting what doesn’t.
.
While some of the science and proof points were familiar to me, I didn’t mind them in a new context based on a new point of view.
.
I listened to it by audiobook, read by the author—which has a habit of being cringey, but in this case was good! She’s a natural and engaging reader.

I spend all day doing science. I don’t need to read about it in my spare time 😂

This was an awesome book about remembering and the how and why around it.
I remember very little. From childhood through adulthood and this book did give me a little insight on why that is.
Why only 3 stars? For me, it read too much like a text book (which, I guess it is).
Many thanks to Netgalley and Rodale Inc Harmony for this advanced readers copy. This book is scheduled to release in March 2021.
