Remember: The Science of Memory and the Art of Forgetting by Lisa Genova

4.0

This was very well done! I loooove brain science. This filled me in on how and why we remember and forget in a really easy-to-follow, fun-to-read way. Aaand gives easy and practical tips to help you remember what matters. Aaand makes you feel better about regularly forgetting what doesn’t.

While some of the science and proof points were familiar to me, I didn’t mind them in a new context based on a new point of view.
.
I listened to it by audiobook, read by the author—which has a habit of being cringey, but in this case was good! She’s a natural and engaging reader.
