I had a hard time getting through this book. Not only did I have to set it down and take walks because it would go from one dark topic to the next, it was also incredibly emotionally gripping. Nothing bad to say about this book, it was written well and the ideas proposed are fascinating.

CW: animal torture and mutilation

Incredible book but the descriptions of what happens to the reindeer can get brutal at times. Definitely not suitable for everyone.
