Kel never fails to write a fantastic book. They are always filled with such captivating characters, you fall for some, loath other (your meant to hate them) and want to be others. The secrets and mysteries though out the stories kept you enthralled. Also don't for get the heat that she never fails to deliver. Sad to she this come to and end but what a way it did. And Kel has hinted to more in this world.

Another great installment. But I’m taking a star for everytime Piper needed space and everyone kept hounding her about ‘running away’. She’s not running away, she’s putting space between her and you or she’s going to light you on fire. Like give her a few minutes before invading her thoughts and being an asshole. Also I really didn’t feel like Piper and Ronan’s relationship was much more than just their soul bond and sex. I was really hoping with this book that we would get to see them getting to know each other more personally. They know their histories and their bodies, but do they know what each other’s favorite things are? What they dislike? Sure they could read each other’s minds but they just have blind devotion to each other. Piper was basically tricked into this relationship and then baby trapped lmao
Loved the development between Bree and Piper. Natalie’s relationship with Lucifer felt a little flat, I get she’s ignoring him on purpose but it just seemed so unnecessary when he’s trying to help her.
I could almost add the star back just for Bree’d definition of Female Rage in the final battle with Lorcan. That was truly a masterpiece and I was screaming like a football jock at a game. Just truly amazing. Her development through this book was awesome.

So much happened
I love books that include more than I expect they ever could. I couldn't imagine how things could go well for everyone. I love how things are mostly positive for all my favorite characters. I do hope to get Nat's and Bree's stories. HEA at the end of this.

Wasn't a fan of how the ending came to be but liked the journey to the ending

A great end to this series, though I did get a few trepidations along the way. Greatly enjoyed it, though!

Worldbuilding:
This final instalment starts where the previous book ended, and it really sets the tone for the rest of the story! Oh, but wait, there is something I actually nearly forgot! Nat gives us a quick recap at the start, you know, in case you forgot something important. I love it when authors do this!! I read so many series, and sometimes it just gets a little jumbled. So yeah, big thanks, Kel!
Storylines and conversations all made perfect sense and scenes and environments were clear and well detailed.
Character development:
Piper has taken up the mantle of Queen of New Chicago, and now she has to deal with what that means, some good things, but mostly just really, really nasty stuff and politics. With the introduction of Lorcan, she's facing the worst threat yet, and some surprises along the way will not make this any easier for her.
Ronan, our beloved Atman, has changed so much over the series. While he is showing a softer side lately, dare to threaten what he considers his, and you'll see why he is the Harvester. When Lorcan shows up, he needs to deal with his past mistake and protect those he loves, or he might just end the world(s).
And then we have Bree, Nathalie, Sasha, Sienna, and so many, many more. I just love these characters; they're all so alive and well fleshed out! I'm hoping we're getting more series set in this world, as I want to know how it goes for all of them!
Pacing and flow:
From start till finish, this is a rock-solid instalment, never too much and never too slow. Such amazing writing!
The book:
The book was well written with no (noticeable) errors. There are sexual scenes described (if that is important to you).
The book has 343 pages, spread over 39 chapters, and is told from multiple points of view, though Piper's first and foremost.
Final thoughts:
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, and all in all, I took my sweet time reading it, enjoying every moment. It was such a great series. I highly recommend it! This last book really brought everything together and made it bump up from really good to one of my favourite series.
