Graphic novel exploring the life and works of nietzsche

Claims to be a beginners guide but only in sofar as it over simplifies and doesn't explain ideas.. To gain much from it it is best to have previously read nietzsche

That said what it does a great job it contextualises nietzsche's work alongside historical and personal events

I thought it would give me some idea of Neitzsche's philosophy but this reads more like a biography, a half-assed one at that. Only found like 6-7 pages accessible and useful.

Trash. There's no point writing books like this. It doesn't explain anything.

I knew nothing about the life and teachings of Fredrich Nietzsche when I picked up this book and I know practically nothing putting the book down again.

I had hoped it would teach me the basics in a clear, concise manner. What I got was a poorly put together, gimicy idea in which Nietzsche's life was portrayed in a black and white comic book fashion. This wouldn't have been so bad if the book didn't already presume an impressive knowledge of 19th century philoshopical figures and events in history.

A book for beginners should be exactly that but I felt alienated and confused by this book. No good at all.
