Nietzsche for Beginners by Marc Sautet

1.0

I knew nothing about the life and teachings of Fredrich Nietzsche when I picked up this book and I know practically nothing putting the book down again.

I had hoped it would teach me the basics in a clear, concise manner. What I got was a poorly put together, gimicy idea in which Nietzsche's life was portrayed in a black and white comic book fashion. This wouldn't have been so bad if the book didn't already presume an impressive knowledge of 19th century philoshopical figures and events in history.

A book for beginners should be exactly that but I felt alienated and confused by this book. No good at all.
