I AM SOBBING 😭😭😭 And I sobbed the whole time.

This book is beautiful. I don't have any other word to describe it. The relationship between Rafael and Ellie is one of the most beautiful loves that's ever been written. It is the mythical kind that people write songs about. The communication, the understanding, and patience. I can't describe the way my heart ached to hug and comfort these two throughout the entire book, but luckily, they have each other and always will. I'm in awe. Truly.

And Nico is the sweetest boy, and he is so insanely lucky to have Rafael and Ellie to love and support him through his good days, but especially the bad ones. Rafael is such a great dad, and he and Ellie are the best team imaginable for Nico to have in his corner. The communication, especially between these three, was beautiful and the epitome of what parenting should look like.

Love Unwritten is one of Asher's best books of all time. I'll never look at hibiscus flowers the same way again 😭🌺

sooo it's been a few days since i read this book and i'm still thinking about these characters so that's a good sign, ok first of all i loove the single dad trope and rafael is such a #dilf 🫦 tbh i didn't think i was gonna get past my hate for him at the beginning bc he was truly insufferable but HELLOOO character development!!! Laura Asher never disappoints with her romances, Ellie and Nico's relationship was sooo sweet I loved them they were such a gem (and they love F1 so we are besties) so yes, I enjoyed this book a lot definitely had me giggling and kicking my feet and the tension between Rafael and Ellie was chef's kiss ok and they were so mature and communicative about their issues and I really liked that and how they come together, and a big bonus is that there's no 3rd act breakup so we looove to see that. However I did feel like maybe it was a little bit longer than it needed to be but other than that I definitely would recommend to read this!
