I AM SOBBING ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ And I sobbed the whole time.
This book is beautiful. I don't have any other word to describe it. The relationship between Rafael and Ellie is one of the most beautiful loves that's ever been written. It is the mythical kind that people write songs about. The communication, the understanding, and patience. I can't describe the way my heart ached to hug and comfort these two throughout the entire book, but luckily, they have each other and always will. I'm in awe. Truly.
And Nico is the sweetest boy, and he is so insanely lucky to have Rafael and Ellie to love and support him through his good days, but especially the bad ones. Rafael is such a great dad, and he and Ellie are the best team imaginable for Nico to have in his corner. The communication, especially between these three, was beautiful and the epitome of what parenting should look like.
Love Unwritten is one of Asher's best books of all time. I'll never look at hibiscus flowers the same way again ðŸ˜ðŸŒº
