Good social commentary but my GOD this was hard to get through because the main character is just INSUFFERABLE. I was so frustrated while reading most of the book, which honestly makes sense for the plot/ending but I don’t enjoy that feeling. Liked it but won’t be re-reading.

A solid little representation of childhood trauma via a childhood fear.

Understated and tragic character study of a man who keeps fucking up and just won't take responsibility for his actions, leading to a ... haunting of sorts.

"You don't work through a thing, or remove it, it just stays there, metastasizing like a cancer."

This really surprised me and I loved it. Felt like a story-based click-and-point game where we slowly peel back the why of the what.
Art was muddy but the story was perfect.

Stunning artwork, excellent story. The jump from packing to the road trip was a little jarring as the dialogue implied a fight that happened but the transition was very abrupt.
