strong messaging … it isn’t up to us to fix others, but to help them fix themselves.

I liked it, but I didn't love it... I'll post a detailed review on my blog later on!

Christine is a fixer. She can't help herself when it comes to someone in need. It seems that's her way of dealing with her own stuff, or better ignore them.
Adam is in a dark place when he meets her. However, there's a lot she's dealing with as well, yet she is not ready to admit it even to herself. They both need help, and find a warm feeling in each other.
Not quite a romance book. At least not the way I pictured it. Two weeks of doing new things and going on amazing and crazy dates that would help him. Not the grumpy x sunshine romance I thought it was.
Definitely a slow burn, which I love, but I feel like she suddenly fell for him and we didn't get those moments of built-up throughout the book. Losing the earing was the first time we got this kind of feeling.
It took me awhile to connect to the characters because Christine was always busy helping side characters that I didn't see any use of, and specifically her friend with the bookstore, the rest of them do add something but I was kinda annoyed by her, I don't know.

I absolutely love love LOVED this book. From beginning to end. Literally couldn't put it down and couldn't stop thinking about it. It was a fun, sweet, sad, real, confronting and engaging read. Definitely recommend it!

My favourite book! I have read this numerous times and will never get tired of it. Ahern is outstanding at creating a love story that will hook you in from the moment it starts. You fall in love with each character and more in love with Ahern for writing something so beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a good love story and a good story in general
