I love this book.
Like other books by Cecelia Ahern, it's not a simple romance novel. Although the topic is quite serious, one may even say grave, it is an amazing uplifting book. At some parts I laughed out loud, others made me cry. All made me want to read more.
Thank you Cecelia Ahern!

I do like this this author and although an easy read, it was predictable. The story touches on the difficult subject of dioxide but has a good overall message. If you like “hallmark” or “made for TV movies” you will love this story. Regardless, the ending is very good and the last few chapters were my favorite.

She has just two weeks. Two weeks to teach him how to fall in love – with his own life.
Adam Basil and Christine Rose are thrown together late one night, when Christine is crossing the Halfpenny Bridge in Dublin. Adam is there, poised, threatening to jump. Adam is desperate – but Christine makes a crazy deal with him. His 35th birthday is looming and she bets him she can show him that life is worth living before then.
Despite her determination, Christine knows what a dangerous promise she’s made. Against the ticking of the clock, the two of them embark on wild escapades, grand romantic gestures and some unlikely late-night outings. Slowly, Christine thinks Adam is starting to fall back in love with his life.
But has she done enough to change his mind for good? And is that all that’s starting to happen.
An easy, entertaining read. The second half was much better than the first as the characters gained some depth and stopped being quite so annoying!

Update: still thinking about it

I will start this review by saying I absolutely adored this book!
I got so invested in the characters that I found myself staying up until 5am just to find out what happens to them, and then by less than 24 hours later I had finished reading the whole book!
It wasn't the most surprising book, or the most groundbreaking, but it made me very happy to read, it was predictable but in a good way, in a way that made me think "please end this in the way I'm expecting you to!!" and, as usual, Cecelia didn't disappoint.
I enjoyed the characters very much and liked every single one for one reason or another, there was only one truly bad person in the whole book (I'll leave you to figure out who that is!) and in particular, the lead male Adam is a lovely, endearing, and frankly gorgeous sounding man!
If only real life was more like a Cecelia Ahern book!
