I think I only like this book so much because I'm the child of a philosophy professor. I really enjoyed it, but it's very different from most of the other Emily Windsnap books. I mean, time loops, critiques of pollution and surveillance and capitalism and friendship saving the day with literally no romance? I think this book was made for me 😂
Graphic: Classism
Moderate: Body horror
Minor: Domestic abuse, Drug abuse, and Toxic relationship

this is actually probably my favourite windsnap book. we got older versions of the characters (my fav was mandy) and emily was suffering quite a bit. i call that a win in my book! this is one of the better emily windsnap stories i can deal with, but i still liked this series

Someone tell me if Aaron comes back. Haven’t read this series since I was eleven, but I feel I owe it to my younger self to see how it ends.

The messages within this book are so incredibly important - environmental conservation, not letting life and riches getting in the way of friendship, giving up control over to the passage of time and not always worrying about how the future will be, getting all sides of a situation before making a decision, and even more.
