I think I only like this book so much because I'm the child of a philosophy professor. I really enjoyed it, but it's very different from most of the other Emily Windsnap books. I mean, time loops, critiques of pollution and surveillance and capitalism and friendship saving the day with literally no romance? I think this book was made for me 😂
Graphic: Classism
Moderate: Body horror
Minor: Domestic abuse, Drug abuse, and Toxic relationship
In one of the possible futures, Emily's mom marries Mr. Beeston. . We don't see much of their relationship, but he's still described as creepy. There is an evil company that wants to ruin everything, and poverty and its consequences are depicted pretty intensely.
