I did not enjoy this book as much as the others in the series. I think the glimpses of Xavier in previous books did not give me a good impression of him. While his character definitely improved, it took me a while to warm up to him.
This book made me SUPER excited Vuk’s book!

It was so tough to understand the world building of this book, but it was worth it to push through.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 56%.
I could not keep going, I was so bored. I already didn’t really enjoy this book at the beginning. The relationship seemed motivated only by lust. So when the plot became slow, I chose to end my read.
Maybe one day I will pick it back up.

I had to force myself to slow down while reading because I enjoyed this book so much and wanted to know what happened next.
