POC wizards, sassy dragons, and a big dose of magical escapism are perfect for these quarantine blues

i LOVE murakami but this one missed the mark for me. felt very disjointed. i did however LOVE the story with Miu and her hair story and wish it dived more into that world

I recommend to any Motion Designer looking for a push to go freelance!

very heavy but overall a really important read. the structure of the book confused me at times as it jumped a lot between first person / third person / backward in time

I really really wanted to like this!!! I loved the poetic writing and carefully considered sentences and pacing, but the story itself and the relationship of the characters fell flat.
