So this is another one of my 2023 Physical TBR. I wish we could do half ratings because I would give it a 3.5 only because the book is 491 pages and everything is quickly over in the second to last chapter and pretty quickly so that I was disappointing. The spice in the book is erotic and had me blushing. It is a reverse harem and of course a happy ending. This was my first reverse harem read or any harem read. You have Mina who is a dhampir sent to Malachi by her father the King (Cornelius). Malachi has friends their names are Wolf and Rylan who are all bloodlines vampires each possess one of the 7 powers. Read the trigger warnings which by the way Katee Robert outlines if the first page before the story starts. The story starts off with a huge bang and fang.

This book was so very cute and sweet. Friends to lovers / fake dating. I highly recommend.

I was not expecting so much explicit…but it was really good read. There were surprises and gasps I was not expecting. I can not wait to listening to the rest of the series. I listened to the audiobook on Hoopla so the narrator was phenomenal.

I really enjoyed listening to this book on Hoopla. I recommend it highly.

A must read. No lulls in this story. I listened to the book on Hoopla and it is also one of my 2023 TBRs for the year. Steamy and the connection of Princess Isolde and King Adrian his the spot. Scarlett St. Clair did it again…I can not wait to read/listen too “Queen of Myth and Monster” with us book two to their story.
