This is on my physical 2023 TBR list and it did not disappoint. This book was awesome. I was completely immersed in the story. Did not see something coming and I could not put it down. Cannot not wait to read the other two books in this trilogy. I highly recommend.

Woo I have this book on Audible and the only reason it took so long to complete are the voices of the narration. To be fair if you read this in order the Addicted Series has different voices and it took a minute to get use to these voices. However I still love this series and I cannot wait to start “Hothouse Flower”. The last line got me even thought there were so many of Rose and Connor. This one sums up the whole book. Connor to Rose “Kiss the sky with me.”

I started reading the books becaused I binged watched the first two seasons of the TV show. So I ended up listening to book 3 to see how the series ends since there is a strike going on. I do love the TV show and I am totlly #TeamJeramiah all the way. The books remind me of Dawson's Creek. We all love a deep and broody guy but we also need a guy to love us and show up for us no matter what. I do see the attraction when you are young and you have not yet lived a life of experiences. I am curous to see how Jenny Han will take the TV series. If you are a fan of the books and the TV series if even she does deviate, I would be stoked. I think Belly needs to grow and experience in order to truly chose her sole mate. On to book 2. I love listening to the books because they are narractade by the actual actor playing the parts. in Book 1 Lola Tong narrates and in Book 2 it is her and Gavin. It really makes the books so much better to listen too.

I really liked the book. I was not connected with what was suppose to be the live story between Elsie and Ben but maybe we are not suppose too. The focus is on grief and how we deal with grief and how others place their beliefs on how long one should grieve based on how long you know someone. I recommend I wonder if I would have enjoyed it more listening to the book versus reading the physical book. I read the physical book for this 2023 Physical TBR read.
