Super cute book!! There was some friend drama like in a lot of kids books, but it didn't take up too much of the story. I really enjoyed the allusions to aurthurian legends.

It was cute. Good for kids. Not very valentine-y. My one issue is th t Mr. Freeze isn't given a sympathetic story arch like he usually is.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.
Kids books are hit and miss sometimes. This was cute but it didn't grab me. Definitely meant for younger kids.

So this was a solid 3 in my book until the last third. The pacing picked up and you got a lot of answers at that point.

I felt like the lessons were heartwarming and the world building was interesting.

The girl kinda bothered me until you found out her reasons for being a "loner" over the last year. (Nothing super traumatic, just a case of a kid feeling like something was her fault.) I think that's what bumped it up to a 4.

There were some loose ends, but some of those ends were hinted at. I probably won't read a sequel, but it definitely is set up for one.

Pretty good. There are a lot of loose ends and only two issues left so I'm curious to see how they will wrap it up.

This book was really good although it wasn't what I expected. It was far more serious and sad than I expected, about unfairness and cruelty in the world. But it had important lessons and I really loved it! The fire half was rather slow, but the second half was very fast.
