Three stars for a political plot I’d want to see the ending to hiding somewhere behind the bad dialogue, cliches, and confounding romance.

I’m not a huge romcom reader but if I was, I’d want all of them to be like this. Surprisingly good at turning tropes on their head when needed and leaning into them when required.

Thoroughly entertaining if not a little cheesy. As a mom, Finlay Donovan irks me but as a protagonist she’s endlessly entertaining.

Modern retelling of Emma. I found it to be predictable but entertaining. If it was a hallmark movie, I wouldn’t turn it off, but not quite my genre.

Super cute, in a way I probably would’ve been obsessed with in high school. Young cast of characters.
