They are best friends and own a bar together.
They both need each other... Him to help his dad and her to keep her ex away.
"I have just handcuffed m favorite appendage fr the next few weeks." - Spencer
I loved this book, it was well written and witty to boot.
He was so cocky and self assured. She was funny and witty.
I am surprised they never hooked up before now.
I almost want to say that she was or had a crush from the early day's but I don't think that was true. Creating there lie I think is what brought them closer together but not only that they got to see each other in a new light.
And then things started to heat up and boy howdy did they heat up!
Burn up the sheets HOT..

Creighton - Crey and Holly what can I say. I laughted in the book more then I thought I was going to and the jaw dropping things that happen!
What a great ending to a trilogy! I mean totally...
I wanted to slap the ever loving shit out of her mother and his uncle. So there was that.
But I just loved the love that was pouring out of this book.
Also this quote I hope I have it right because I have the audio version and I want to get it right.
"Holy cow Crey, holy cow tipping, running from the cops, falling into a pile of shit. Omg did that really just happen."
LMFAO this was priceless!
Read this trilogy you won't regret it.

Ok I am putting it out there… The first 2 books in the series were just ok for me. But this book hot damn! I loved it. I mean yes! Finally we get the band/brothers feel, and friends.
I think that’s what I was waiting for with the other two books. We get a little bit of it but not like this book this book they were an integrate part of the story. And I loveeeed that.
We get Tamar’s pain and anguish right away but we also know there is something going on with Lyric we just don’t know what.. And boy when we do it will break your heart. This book has so many struggles. So much pain they both have to overcome but they can do it together and heal together. Normally I am not big on the drama but this had it but it wasn't all there ways.
We still get the past characters and all that but it just felt like a family and I think that’s what I was missing in the other books so yeah I lovedddd this book. I can’t wait to see what A.L. Jackson does with the rest of this series.
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

West tortured billionaire wants doesn't want to want Jessie Kay but oh boy howdy he sooooo does. And she wants Mr. West right back.
Both their pasts are in the way of there happiness of being together. She doesn't want his regular 2 months. And he doesn't want to give up his self mad prison.
This book is so witty with all its one liners I laughter and re read parts. They both feel like they have to do things to keep there family/friends happy even if it's not truly want they want.
You have to love that we get to see all our favourite character's again and again like I said with book 2 it's seamless. The story just picks right back up but with another set of characters ready for there HEA.
I was sad when this book need I want more of this fun loving bunch of mix and matched friends.
Def re read material

Don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed this book. It was light, very humorous, and HELLO Canadian’s!! I didn’t find it a deep read. It was surface and fun and flirty just the right kind of book to read in between those dark and twisty reads.
Being as I am Canadian, I loved the narrators BOTH of them. It wasn’t to hooky. But if I say eh like that someone smack me lol. Just kidding.. not really
I loved Violets wit, lord have mercy she cracked me up. And all the beaver talk. Gosh that was funny. I will never think of “jilling it” without thinking of her I swear to god.
I very much enjoyed the brother, sister relationship between Buck and Violet. Even with the STEP, in there it was very much like they had grown up together made for good dynamic.
Alex oh what to say about this fella that Violet hasn’t already said… esp about The MC..
I do like how things went down with him mom. And even after all the “other stuff” how he makes it right.
I also LOVED that he was a figure skater, and not just for a little bit of time but for a long time. That was really neat. I don’t’ know why I liked it I just did. |
‘Those pretty, pretty eyes bore into mine the way they did the first time I saw him play.’
In the audio… I cracked up the most about 13 mins till the end so much I had tears from laughing so hard. I won’t give anything away just that was FUNNNY… yes it need more N’s ;)

Callie is very guarded, a lot has to do with how she grew up.
Its also how she deals with people that come in to her life.
Adam I think is the only person to really get her. And that's why he is her best friend.
So when Declan starts showing more interest she is very standoffish she doesn't want to get hurt. And he isn't usually in to things for more then one night.
I loved this story, heck I love this series and having some of the other characters make a cameo was epic!
The holding hand squeezing 3 times was omg melt my heart!
I am really looking forward to Van's book but I can see why we need Charlie first. :D

This Audio packs a punch, I pretty much listened straight through.. Yes I did all but 2 hrs.
Oh Wen and Kai, I freaking loved this audio. They brought these characters to life I couldn’t get enough. To be honest if I went to eye read this I probably wouldn’t have liked it as much as I liked the audio.
Kai, life really wants to push this girl down but she won’t let it. Her mother’s illness, her having to work so many jobs to make ends meet. She never once gives up on her dream though. She is determined to make it on her own. Even if that means pushing the people away that want to help her.
‘He was a flare of light that illuminated everything around me and showed my just how dull my existence had become.’ - Kai
Rhyson, doesn’t want or need the spotlight but he loves what he does. Having never had to fight for his dream he doesn’t understand that Kai need to do it on her own. He just wants to make it happen for her but what he doesn’t see is that she won’t accept it if its given to her. She needs to feel like she did it on her own that she was good enough.
‘Everything about this girl turns me inside out. Even my subconscious wants to seduce her.’ - Ryson
The struggle watching these to become friend to lovers is pretty awesome to listen to. I enjoyed this book so much that I will be going right in to book 2.
You can’t help but want to know what is going to happen with these two they are meant to be in each other’s lives whether it’s for the good or the bad.
Isn’t that what the best love stories are made of, the struggle to want and need to be with each other but for some reason something tears them apart?

I loved book 1, I didn’t like how it ended only because well you have to read it. I am so thankful I got to go right in to this one. The narrators wow, I can’t say enough good things about how they brought this book to life.
The ways they complement each other, I just loved it.
Rhyson, oh I love him but I want to smack him, how did he think she was going to react. Men I have to shake my head. I know what he wanted to happen but it blew up in his face and now he is dealing with the consequences, I feel for the guy I do but a little suffering never hurt anyone… right?
‘Deep Calls out to Deep’
I am just going to randomly put quotes in. Yep so deal. ;)
Kai, I think what she did was the right and wrong thing; I think when you make emotional discussion things fall through the cracks. You can feel her pain in this book. It’s in the narrators words and voice. So it must leap off the page.
You can tell staying away is painful to her but she thinks she is doing what is right. And sometimes our hearts and heads don’t see eye to eye.
‘I live you.’
I also feel the best things in life are things we fight for, so I am glad how things end up working out. But mostly I am glad Kai got to heal from her mother and from her father. Even if just a little bit.
‘Even when we are apart we are together.’
Is it wrong that I loved getting to see all the parts of Rhyson in this book the struggle, the groveling, the love and the pain. Does that make me a little evil if so, so be it. This was one heck of a book.
‘You’re not my ex, you’re always.’

For me I felt it was wayyyy to slow up until half point. Then the story for me really got going.
So mysterious both of them, you wonder about Shea's background and you really wonder about Baz's background.
The heat these to create is off the hook HOT. There connection is hard to put in to words you just feel it come off the page.
I am not a fan of the 3 times words I was in the beginning but then I felt like it was over kill kill kill.
A favorite quote
"Where there is beauty, there is pain."
Truer words, dear Baz.
Baz not telling her who he really was kind of pissed me off, he didn't want to get attached but he couldn't stay away. He had to know he couldn't keep it a secret for long.
Also love this quote
"You see me Shea."
It's kind of funny that they both hide who they really are but you hearts can't hide from each other.
As a mother myself the last part of this book broke my ever loving heart... Oh that cliffy...

This is another 3 stars that's still a good thing I think.
I liked Anna enough I just found her to be a little to much.
And Arrow I LOVED him in the first book but didn't really like him much in this one.
I know how could I!! The horror.
Still I like the book well enough I NEED the next one.
