The story of the myth of sisyphus itself was interesting. The essay on it was a bit difficult to understand at some parts but overall was pretty profound and has me interested in reading more on existentialism and absurdism.

Interesting read to get into philosophy. Some parts did feel as if you were reading textbook passages since it does go over the history of philosophy but overall the story it revolved around and plot twist wasn’t too bad. There were some weird passages that I think did not need to be in there.

theme of duality, good vs evil, too much of one in a person doesn’t work out. decent read and kinda silly imaging each half just hopping around

a short read but a great one. has some beautiful passages but also some that have you feeling heartbroken and a bit of despair. i wanted this book to be longer and was sad it had to come to an end.

there’s better media out there with the theme of being stranded on an island. pretty generic take (to be fair, this came out a long time ago).
better media with the same theme- Lost(tv show), Yellowjackets(tv show), The Forest (video game)
